Vélo for Violet’s Vault
Welcome to the First Annual Vélo for Violet’s Vault! On August 20th, 2023, we will be jumping on our bikes and riding for autism awareness in the Eastern Ontario region. Participants will follow the beautiful Eastern Ontario Bike Trails System that winds along the St-Lawrence Seaway. Whether you’re a pro-cyclist, or want to bring your family – this event is for you. We’ve designed the day to make sure everyone can participate! Because that is what is at the heart of autism awareness: making space for all of us.
Departures for Pro-Cyclist and Family/Groups Cyclists
Our bike ride will take you through some breathtaking scenery and end with a celebration at Violet’s Vault. To ensure that everyone arrives at approximately the same time, we have different departure locations and times for Pro-Cyclists and Family/Group Cyclists.
- Pro-Cyclists will depart Cornwall (60 km ride), or Brockville (45 km ride)
- Family/Group Cyclists will depart Cardinal (10 km ride) or Morrisburg (12 km ride)
- The meeting point is at Violet’s Vault, 23 Plaza Drive in Iroquois
- Refreshments, Music and Door Prizes for attendees!
Door Prizes & Donations
Donations are not required to participate at the event. Everyone is welcome to participate Violet’s Vault is truly grateful for all voluntary donations – Every Dollar Matter to increase Autism Awareness! . If you are not sure how much you should give, here is a suggested donation chart:
- $25 for Pro-Cyclist
- $40 for Group/Family Cyclist
- Or whatever you wish! Big or Small – your support is invaluable.
All donations will be eligible for door prizes, attendance is not required to win a prize. The draw for all door prizes will be held on the day of the event at Violet’s Vault between 12:30pm – 1pm.
*Every dollar collected will be donated to autism not-for-profit organizations. Violet’s Vault is covering 100% of the costs associated with organizing and holding this event.

Departure time: 9am – 9:30am
Departure Locations:
- The Parking Lot at Bicycle World, 24 Ninth Street East in Cornwall
- The Parking Lot behind the Brockville Centennial Youth Arena (where the Dog Park is Located)
- Meeting Point: Violet’s Vault in Iroquois
If you need to use the restroom or needs refreshments along the way:
- Friendly stop at Katrina’s Coffee Shop, 513 King Streest West in Prescott
Information for the Group / Family Cyclists:
Departure time: 10am – 10:30am
Departure Locations:
- The Parking Lot at Morrisburg Waterfront Park in Morrisburg
- The Parking Lot at the Royal Canadian Legion, Riverside Lodge in Cardinal
- Meeting Point: Violet’s Vault in Iroquois
